October 25, 2016 will see Fairway Holdings opening Sri Lanka’s first-ever standalone sports complex introduced by a property developer for its home-owners.
The complex, which will be declared open by the ‘Everest duo’, Jayanthi Kuru- Utumpala and Johann Peiris, was brought into existence with the sole objective of providing an extra element of value to the owners of apartments built by Fairway Holdings.
The Fairway Sports Complex comprises of a number of fully-equipped facilities including courts for basketball, squash, badminton and tennis, an outdoor gym, a rooftop for relaxation and a clubhouse for socializing with family and friends. Quite a few of these facilities are situated outdoors where homeowners can enjoy the ease of open spaces and the soothing fresh air.
Fairway Holdings has always striven to be more than a mere real estate development company. The company promotes the concept of healthy living as well as environmental preservation and the new sports complex is testament to this fact, given its location and setting in Rajagiriya. The company was also the summit sponsor of the recent Everest expedition, which saw a Sri Lankan reach the summit for the first time in history.
