FTZMA donates Rs. 5mn to Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund

Free Trade Zone Manufactures Association ( FTZMA) made a financial donation of Rs. 5 million to strengthen the Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund established by the government to provide relief to the people affected by Cyclone Ditwah and rebuild the damaged infrastructure.

The cheque for this financial donation was officially handed over to the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat on 09th April.

The donation was handed over by the Chairman of FTZMA. Dhammika Fernando together with the General Secretary of FTZMA M.H.M. Marzook and  executive committee members of FTZMA Lalith Kahatapitiya and Chandani Ekanayake.

The fund has been mobilized through the generous participation and goodwill of FTZMA member organizations who share a deep sense of responsibility towards supporting affected communities and restoring their livelihoods.
