EDB kicks off application process for 27th edition of Presidential Export Awards

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) announced yesterday that the applications for the 27th Presidential Export Awards are open. 

The event will be held under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in December 2025, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).

This year too, the exporters are provided with the opportunity to submit their applications online via the official web portal https://pea.edb.gov.lk.

The Presidential Export Awards represent the highest national recognition conferred by the president of Sri Lanka to honour the outstanding contributions made by the Sri Lankan exporters to the export sector and national economy. The awards aim to recognise and reward excellence in export performance and to motivate the exporters who have rendered exceptional service towards Sri Lanka’s economic advancement.

The Presidential Export Awards programme was first launched by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board in 1981. Since then, 26 award ceremonies have been successfully held.
