The annual six-a-side ‘Chamber Cricket Championship 2016’ organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) will be held on September 3, 2016 at the CCC grounds in Colombo.


The contest, which is organised for the third consecutive year, is open for teams primarily representing the firms in the local corporate sector. 


The organisers expect to accommodate only a maximum of 40 teams to take part in this year’s competition.


The first round of the tournament will be conducted on a league basis, while the second round will be held on a knock-out basis. Apart from awarding the champions and the runners-up of the tournament, the organisers have also planned to award the Best Player, Best Bowler, Best Batsmen and Best Female Player of the tournament.


Each team can have six playing members for a match and it is mandatory for each team to also have a female player in the playing six. Those who wish to take part in this tournament may call on 115588852 or email to [email protected]
