The Taxation Committee of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) will conduct a virtual webinar on ‘Highlights of Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act No. 10 of 2021’ today (August 5) from 6.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m. via online
zoom platform.
The seminar will be inaugurated by the Chief Guest H.M.W.C. Bandara, Commissioner General of Inland Revenue Department and the welcome address will be delivered by Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, Founder President, CMA Sri Lanka. The presentation on ‘Highlights of Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act. No. 10 of 2021’ will be delivered by Athula Ranaweera, Managing Partner,
Ranaweera Associates.
The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion which will be moderated by Duminda Hulangamuwa, Partner, Ernst & Young and the eminent panelists are
N.R. Gajendran,
Senior Partner, Gajma & Co., Sarala Kodagoda, Partner Tax & Business Advisory Services, Deloitte Sri Lanka, and Nihal C. Wijewardena, Senior Deputy Commissioner, Department of Inland Revenue. The co-ordination will be handled by Puvendran Gajendra Chairman of the Taxation Committee.
The webinar will conclude with a question and answer session where participants will also have an opportunity to discuss practical applications and obtain clarifications via chat option.
