CMA Sri Lanka celebrates International Women’s Day tomorrow

The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA Sri Lanka) will celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, organized by the CMA Sri Lanka Women Leadership Committee, on March 12th from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. via Zoom, under the global theme “Rights. Justice. Action. For All Women and Girls.”

The forum aims to bring together leading professionals to discuss the importance of inclusive leadership, gender equity, and empowering women across sectors.

The event will commence with a Welcome Address by Darshini Watawala, Chairperson – Women’s Leadership Committee, CMA Sri Lanka, and Director at Deloitte Partners.

The Keynote Address will be delivered by Dilrukshi Kurukulasuriya, Executive Director of Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC, who will share insights on leadership, resilience, and advancing women’s participation in decision-making roles.

The session will be moderated by Samanthi Kariyawasam, Director Finance of Hemas Hospitals PLC.

The panel of speakers include: Nayana Ranatunga, CEO of Senikma Holdings; Dr. Vagisha Gunasekara, Economist at UNDP – Sri Lanka; Chamila Cooray, Chairperson – SAFA Women Leadership Committee, General Manager of Shared Services, Hemas COE (Pvt) Ltd and  Eranthi Premaratne, Consultant in Sustainable Business Practices.
