CFA Society SL Charter Awards Ceremony 2025 celebrates new charterholders

CFA Society Sri Lanka honours a new generation of finance professionals, who have earned the prestigious CFA designation and those who have successfully completed the CFA Programme, at Charter Awards Ceremony 2025. 

Taking place this evening at Lotus Hall, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, 21 new charterholders, along with two candidates who completed the CFA Programme, will be recognised at the event. This milestone event reinforces CFA Society Sri Lanka’s commitment to ‘Forging the Future of Finance’ by fostering excellence, integrity and leadership in the industry. 

The ceremony will be graced by Colombo Stock Exchange Chief Executive Officer Designate Vindhya Jayasekera, CFA, who will attend as the chief guest and Orator.

The CFA charter, awarded by the globally recognised CFA Institute, is regarded as the gold standard in the finance profession, with over 200,000 charterholders worldwide across 160 markets.

The event will be hosted by President Rashmi Peiris Paranavitane, CFA, along with the board of directors of CFA Society Sri Lanka. 

CFA Society Sri Lanka, established in 2001, is a not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to the professional development of the CFA charterholders and candidates. CFA Society Sri Lanka represents more than 245 charterholders in Sri Lanka and its membership includes CEOs, CFOs, portfolio managers, equity analysts, banking professionals, investment advisors and other senior-ranking financial practitioners, along with over 400 candidates primarily from the financial sector.
