CCAASL holds AGM

The Challenged Children’s Aid Association of Sri Lanka (CCAASL), a national organization dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of children with physical disabilities, particularly those who are abandoned or from underprivileged families held its Annual General Meeting recently. 

The Association appointed a new Executive committee for 2025. 

The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest Hanif Yusoof, the Governor of the Western Province, Sri Lanka. He emphasised on the vale of the services rendered to the Challenged Children by this type of organizations and thanked the donors for the support extended and to the Executive Committee for their services.

Extra colour was added to the event  by the few dancing performances by the children and staff. The long standing services of the Treasurer who completed 40 continuous years of service was recognised with a citation and the presentation of a plaque by the Chief Guest.

The Executive Committee for the year 2025 comprises of President - Archt. Ranjan Nadesapillai; Immediate Past President - Nihal Perera; Vice Presidents - Dr. J.V. Aryasinghe,  A.Kailasapillai, Dhanaraj, Wijemanne, Melanie Fernando, Sujeewa Lal, Dahanayake (AAL); Secretary - Damayanthi Weerakkody and Treasurer - A. Kailasapillai.
