CBL Group Chairman Ramya Wickramasingha passes away

​CBL Group Chairman Ramya Sanath Amaraweera Wickramasingha has passed away, the company announced in a statement. 

Expressing profound sorrow at the loss of its longtime leader, the firm paid tribute to a visionary who dedicated his life to building a successful business while nurturing a community founded on care, integrity, and innovation. Under his leadership, Sri Lanka gained greater recognition on the global stage, while his kindness and humanity touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

​The company noted that Wickramasingha was much more than a corporate leader, describing him as a mentor, a father figure, and a constant source of inspiration to employees and associates throughout the organization. 

While acknowledging that his passing leaves a profound void, CBL Group emphasised that the values and principles he embodied would continue to guide its future, concluding that his memory remains forever cherished as they carry forward his legacy with love and pride.
