Bureau Veritas Lanka achieves Gold at Presidential Environment Awards 2025

Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd, part of Bureau Veritas, was honoured with the prestigious Gold award under the Environment Friendly Private Institutions Category, at Presidential Environment Awards 2025, demonstrating remarkable progress from its Silver award achievement last year. 

This represents a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental excellence and sustainable business practices.

The award ceremony, held under the esteemed patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, took place at the BMICH recently. The event brought together the nation’s environmental champions and recognised the outstanding contributions to environmental conservation, sustainability and eco-friendly innovation across various sectors. The gathering also included fellow award recipients and numerous distinguished guests.

The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti, Environment Ministry Secretary K.R. Uduwawala, Environment Deputy Minister Anton Jayakody, along with the senior officials from the Environment Ministry and Central Environmental Authority.
