Bairaha supports employees’ children through ‘Help to Learn Project’

Bairaha Farms PLC has once again showcased its passion towards uplifting the educational facilities and standards for the children of its workforce, with the latest edition of its “Help to Learn Project”, held at The Covanro Hotel at Veyangoda.

The occasion was graced by Bairaha Farms Managing Director Yakooth Naleem and Operations Director Mohamed Imtizam Wahid, alongside senior managers, factory staff and employees, most of whom accompanied their children.

Moreover, the event also saw the participation of the Principal of the Primary School in Ellalamulla, the Grama Niladari, and the Assistant Superintendent of Police of the Nittambuwa Police Division, who shared valuable advice to the children present.

Bairaha Farms Director Operations said, “Our efforts to meet and exceed the learning needs of these school children are reflected through our annual Help to Learn Project, and we are proud to uplift future generations to excel academically. Investing in our country’s future is a responsibility that we are committed to upholding and adhering to in years to come. Together, we foster a multi-beneficial environment- incentivizing our loyal workforce to deliver, while their children being supported and assisted.”

With the closing of the formal proceedings of the programme, the ceremony ended with lunch being served to all participants.

Bairaha Farms’ Help to Learn’ initiative facilitates to encourage and support the children ofcompanyemployees who are currently attending school between Grades 01 and 13. The initiative this year has benefited 725 students with essentialslike school bags, books as well as stationery and other items being provided deemed as requirements by the school.

The company initiated this grand educational development welfare project in 2018, with a pure intention of uplifting the educational standards of the children of its employees, which has been held annually.This year the company spent more than Rs.5 million for the initiative of education.
