Amor Developers secured the top spot at the German-Sri Lanka Startup Awards 2026, held as part of the Sri Lankan-German Business Forum 2026. The company’s founder, Chalindu Fernando, accepted the award from Deputy Minister Chathuranga Abeysinghe during the event.
Amor Developers captured a commanding 44 percent of the vote for its MedTech innovation, NOVALITH, an AI-powered system designed for monitoring maternal and fetal health. The startup outperformed a competitive field of finalists demonstrating innovation, impact, and market potential across various sectors.
Neuralgap secured the second-highest backing with 20 percent of the vote for its AI-based biotech drug discovery platform, closely followed by Permia Sensing, which captured 18 percent for its AgriTech AI-driven plantation intelligence platform. Also recognized among the top five finalists were Talvin AI, showcasing an HR Tech voice-AI solution for enterprise recruitment, and Tracelet AI, featuring an AI governance platform providing complete visibility and control over enterprise AI usage.
