Amana Bank recently expanded its people-friendly banking model to the Matara district with the opening of its 35th self-banking centre in Galbokka, Weligama, marking another milestone in the bank’s commitment to providing accessible and convenient banking services across Sri Lanka. 

The self-banking centre, conveniently located at No 67-1, Galbokka Road, Galbokka, Weligama, offers round-the-clock access for cash withdrawals, cash deposits, cheque deposits and bill payments. 

The self-banking centre was opened under the patronage of the bank’s Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal along with Senior Vice President Business Banking Irshad Iqbal, Assistant Vice President SME and Regional Branches Arshad Adhnan, Galle Branch Manager Champika Peiris, local business representatives and residents in attendance. 

Imtiaz Iqbal stated, “We are excited to mark our entry into the Matara district and expand our footprint in the Southern province with the opening of our 35th self-banking centre and 68th customer touchpoint in Galbokka, Weligama. This strategic location, vital as both a tourist attraction and a bustling business city, allows us to seamlessly expand our people-friendly banking model. Our aim is to bring banking services closer to communities, ensuring unparalleled ease and convenience in their financial transactions.’’
