Delivering the keynote address, the Chief Guest, Professor Sampath Amaratunge, Former Chairperson of the University Grants Commission, highlighted the critical role of education in national development and the importance of sustained corporate involvement in empowering future generations.

Speaking at the ceremony, a student took stage to thank AIA Insurance Lanka, stating “AIA has believed in us at a time when it mattered most, and we are determined to honour that trust by contributing positively to our country.”

Over the past 31 years, the programme has supported more than 750 students, many of whom have gone on to excel as doctors, lawyers, engineers, academics, and public servants, making meaningful contributions to Sri Lanka’s progress. These outcomes reflect the farreaching impact of purposeled corporate responsibility and the transformative power of education in shaping future leaders.

Guided by its purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives, AIA views education as a powerful enabler that empowers individuals to build a better future for themselves and the nation.
