Traffic congestion was reported on Sir Marcus Fernando Mawatha, Colombo 02 after a tree fell across the road near the National Museum a short while ago, Police said.

They said vehicles have been diverted through the Glass House Junction and the Library round-about.

these trees are a menace in colombo. how many huge old trees are there along the road. These need to be cut and removed? how many lives we lost due to these?
