Industries Minister Wimal Weerawansa has been placed under home quarantine after several police officers working in his security details were identified as Covid 19 infected.
Minister Weerawansa said that he had decided to be quarantined from his home for 14 days from today as he was an associate of the officers who were identified as infected.
The Minister said that his office in the Ministry of Industries has also been disinfected and it has been closed for 14 days.

The Industries Ministry was always in quarantine. What has Nadasena done for the Industry. During first wave of COVID-19, state TV showed new innovations taking a lot of valuable TV time. Some even talked of patents. Where are the result of these innovations or was it just a show.
