Two Maldivians arrested with over 1 kg of heroin in Bambalapitiya

Two Maldivian nationals were arrested with more than one kilogram of heroin while they were staying at a hotel in Bambalapitiya last night, Police said.

They said the suspects aged 28 and 30 were arrested on information received by the Police Narcotics Bureau.

They are to be produced in Negombo Magistrate’s Court today.
