Leading social media influencer Khalid Al Ameri, who is based in the Middle East, yesterday announced his visit to Sri Lanka.

The popular Emirati blogger, who creates content with his wife Salama Mohamed, will be in the island nation till June 5 (Monday).

Ameri took to his social media handles to share the update but did not elaborate on his plans.

“Sri Lanka here we come!! I can’t wait to meet you all and discover this beautiful country inshAllah,” posted Ameri.

Within just hours of the update, thousands of his followers from Sri Lanka expressed their excitement over his visit.

Ameri creates culturally-relevant material that is made for the international community.

A graduate from Stanford University, he was featured on the 2020 list of ‘100 Most Powerful Arabs’ by Gulf Business; he is also the first social media personality to be awarded a Dubai Star in the Downtown Dubai Walk of Fame.

Sad to see the ignorance of people on this comment section about technology and social media. Please learn about Social Media and the advantages of Social Media marketing. This is free marketing. He has over 3 million followers just on Instagram. If he is able to attract even 10 percent of his follower base or at least show his followers the beauty of Sri Lanka and to visit this island with beautiful sceneries, it would be more than all you have done in your lifetime for the country.

Khaled Almeri and Salama such a nice human beings you will ever come across, their vlog on our Island will make a great impact on tourism sector, and also another Youtuber Davud from Uzbekistan doing a great job to the local community, just watch out the impact they create not about where they come from.
