With the intention of enhancing women's cricket across the country, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will launch a new coaching programme, through which SLC hopes to create women's coaching pools.
In line with this initiative, the Coach Education Unit of SLC will conduct a 'Level 0' coaching programme that will focus on current female cricket coaches currently operating in schools and clubs.
This programme will create a pathway for female coaches to qualify for SLC Conducted Level I, II and III coaching courses, in turn helping them reach the international coaching platform.
This 'Level 0' programme is open to women physical instructors and women sports trainers of the Ministry of Sports and Education, working in schools islandwide.

Hope this project is not to give jobs to people like Hashan Tillekeratna like they did earlier.
