Ruppee further depreciates against USD: Selling rate touches Rs. 350

The Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR) continues to depreciate against the US Dollar (USD) for the fifth consecutive day since last Friday.

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, today's buying rate of USD is Rs. 332.20 while the selling rate is Rs. 350.22.

    Well what is happening to our Ruppe, we thought USD will drop to Rs.230 that's what we were told.world market oil prices has come down hope soon we will get liter for Rs.250.

    The USD can not fall against the SL Rupee as the Rupee cannot be traded anywhere on the planet.

    Time for the LKR to be ditched and Lanka start using a different currency that's worth the paper it's printed on.
