The UNP and the govt must stop deceiving people if you want to earn the trust and respect of the people. Mr Choudhry has investments in Sri Lanka and he often comes. Why dont the BoI report on actual contracts signed rather than talking big about every visit made please?

Ok! Investment are welcome at this crucial hour. But it should be mainly manufacturing using local raw materials, and NOT selling of already established profitable enterprises done by JR and other leaders after 1977.

These Billionaires got to where they are, not by accident but by diligently looking at their business options. Give me a good reason why this guy would want to invest in a country where the government is not stable, never keep their promises(all sides of politics),bankrupt and before negotiating a deal politicians want to see what they can get in their pocket? ONE CAN CALL IT A GREAT BUSINESS VENTURE IN THIS COUNTRY!

Billionaires from everywhere investing in SL.Not necessarily a good sign.Should see what they are investing in and whether it brings a real benefit to SL .And why it cannot be handled by SL companies. We need to develop in the long term Can't always be in survival mode.It is an educated community Dinesh Weerakkody is an experienced professional so Iam sure he is looking into such matters
