Former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa left the Temple Trees early today morning after protestors had gathered for hours outside following a day of violence and clashes.
In the early hours of today morning, security forces cleared the protestors outside Temple Trees after which Rajapaksa left the premises.
Rajapaksa's resignation as the Prime Minister was accepted by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday.
