A group of lawyers entered the Attorney General's Department premises criticising Attorney General's decision to withdraw several cases filed against politicians.
They entered the premises shouting slogans alleging that role of Attorney General has been politicized since he has withdrawn cases filed against corrupt politicians. They urge the Attorney General to uphold rule of law and listen to the public .
They said the sovereignty is vested on the people and the Attorney General cannot act contrary to the people's supremacy.(Lakmal Sooriyagoda)

I take my hat off to you people. I was telling whom I met that Rajapakshas are "PATTA HORU" much earlier. It is not only them these type of boot licking people should also be punished.

Awsome! Thanks so much the lawyers. Don’t let politicize the AG

At least good that you have opened your eyes! AG must resign with other henvchmen who have released several convicted murdoreors and criminals!

The AG was placed in that position to do exactly that. His mission is accomplished.

Dear Sirs! you have done the the very right thing. This AG should be punished for being a lackey and henchman to the Rajapaksa family. Every criminal was "Nidos Kota Nidahs" now he should pay for those and face prison sentence.
