According to the latest ICC Cricket Rankings Sri Lanka is almost at the bottom of the rankings in all formats of the game.

SL cricket is a great example of what has happened to this country as a whole. Before long, countries like Australia, England and India will stop giving any matches to SL. If people don't know, these countries loose money by giving games to uncompetitive teams as ticket sales determine the games' commercial value. I don't think Mahela and Sangakkara care about SL cricket and they have been given too much importance for doing nothing. They talk too much and do very little. Their focus is to earn as much money as they can doing IPL and Hundred in UK. They have been given too much unnecessary importance.

The selection body is a total failure, poor team selection. It's obviously shows their lack of knowledge on the game, basically just going through the motions, to satisfy their hierarchy, and keep up their purses fat. Obviously ignorent of the opponents, ignorent of the foreign pitches,technically nill of the game, and playing conditions is what we see,of the Selecters and and their Chairman of selectors.
