Forty-two Department, Statutory Boards and State Corporations including the Sri Lanka Telecom, Board of Investment and the Colombo Port City Economic Commission has been gazetted under the Defence Ministry which is under President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
An extraordinary gazette notification has been issued detailing the duties and functions of the 23 ministries.
The gazette stated that all subjects and functions of Department, Statutory Boards and State Corporations which are not specifically assigned to a Minister will continue to be vested with the President.(DSB)

Your excellency, the Colombo Port City Economic Commission is vital to our economy to which vested interested parties try to STOP the project to destabilize the economy further. Those who opposed the project are seemingly vying for a STALL in the Port City for their personal wealth to get enhanced rather than thinking of National Interest. The US conspiracy has applied because of this very project to be JAMMED.
