Sri Lanka should have an independent organisation to do Risk Assessments and Health and Safety audits when these types of escalators been installed

This is what happens when the appropriate prayers are not conducted by a suitably erudite and financially adequately rewarded Thero

Now watch how Parliament will take a vote of condolence and then donate Rs. 20 million.

Dr P M B Cyril was an honest and well respected politician of the past. He sacrificed his medical profession to serve the public. He used his personal wealth for his constituents welfare unlike the present day rogue politicians. May he attain the supreme bliss of Nirvana.

This was a temporary elevator, installed by the Contractor who was attending to the repairs in the house. Incidentally, I had the good opportunity of serving as a public servant in the Hambantota district when he was a minister. I very much respect the way he treated and guided the public servants.
