Former Sri Lanka cricketer Dhammika Prasad began a 24-hour hunger strike this morning at the Galle Face Green in Colombo.
He said he will engage in a 24-hour hunger strike urging the leaders of this country to deliver justice to Easter Sunday attack victims and people of Sri Lanka who are suffering from the current economic crisis.
Last week, he also organised a protest march from Katuwapitiya church to Kochchikade church urging authorities to deliver justice to the Easter Sunday attacks victims. (DSBi)

Only 24 hours refrained from eating. That is nothing. It is a joke. So what justice are you expecting for the attacks? To arrest Sirisena , then why not do this strike in front of his house ?. We do not have dollars to buy essential items and your community has openly asked your guys abroad not to send dollars to Sri Lanka. Also protests and strikes are non productive waste of time and will not bring dollars.

Arrest Srisena, what about the Rajapakse's. If you arrest both Sirisena and the Rajapkse's all truth will be revealed. Lock all of them. Rane.. ask your bosses to bring the looted dollars first.
