The European Union (EU) today called on all parties to cooperate and focus on a peaceful, democratic and orderly transition in Sri Lanka.
Stating that it is closely following developments in Sri Lanka, the EU Spokesperson said, “It is the responsibility of all party leaders to pave way to a solution to the current crisis and return back to normalcy.”
The EU is assessing the available options to further step up its support to Sri Lanka’s population, the spokesperson added.

Now everybody wants to tell us how to go about doing things. I think we have the intellect and determination to do things the right and proper way and also our way. Not theway The EU or USA or any other country wants it to be done
