Decision to reduce chicken prices in next few days: Minister

Unless ,production is increased providing cheap poultry food there is no way to reduce the prices, otherwise these words have no meaning and hollow as politicians usually do.

Poultry food prices are the main issue. Normally a kilo of quality chicken feed is around 240 to 260. 100g per day into 45 days will cost about 1170. 1170 for food only. So basically if the chick feed can be prepared while keeping quality for around 150 per kg. The price can be reduce drastically. Even the egg price will come down. See how many poultries are getting closed with current feeder food prices. Other option is to encourage free range chicken for both meat and eggs by giving around 5acre to 10acre for potential farms. So that way less processed food can be given.

foods should be exempt from government taxes at least essential food. western countries like US exempt food and groceries from taxes.
