Bank manager hacked to death inside bank by husband

A 22-year old woman who is a manager of the Sanasa Bank of Hakmana was hacked to death inside the bank premises.

Police said the husband of the victim had hacked the woman to death using machete knife on Tuesday afternoon due to a family dispute.

The bank manager was admitted to the Gangodama Hospital following the attack. However, she was pronounced dead on admission to the hospital.

The Hakmana Police is investigating to arrest the suspect who has fled after the murder.

What a sad,,,,,! how hard that women might have studied and worked to become a bank manager at her age of 20. What about her parents……? All what I can say is Sri Lanka is being haunted by the past mistakes, the Karma is working steadily.

What kind of a brute is this husband who could hack his 22 yr old wife with a machete? What will befall to his children when or if he have them? Whatever the reason, he should be human enough to walk away even IF the wife had done the unthinkable, rather than being the executioner.
