A woman who was reportedly rescued while hanging from a beam of a home in Veyangoda had died on admission to the Wathupitiwala Hospital.


Police said they believed that prior to the hanging the woman might have injured her 4-year-old son, who was also admitted to the same hospital. (LSP)
