Water supply to certain areas to be interrupted

The Water Board announced that the water supply would be interrupted in some areas in Colombo and its suburbs on Friday and Saturday for essential maintenance work to be carried out.

Accordingly, there would be a ten-hour water cut from 10.00 pm on April 4  to 8.00 a.m. on April 5 in Nugegoda, from Nugegoda Junction to Wijerama Junction on the High Level Road, Pitakotte, Etul Kotte, Mirihana, Udahamulla, Wijerama, Pagoda, Nawala, Madiwela,  Thalapathpitiya  and  Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, and Kesbewa  Urban Council areas.

Water supply would be interrupted in the Colombo, Mattakkuliya, Kotahena, Modara, Muthuwella, Madampitiya Mawatha, George R. De Silva Mawatha and the Fort area from 9.00 p.m on April 4 to 10.00 a.m. on April 5.

There will be an 8-hour water cut from 9.00 pm on April 4 to 5.00 a.m. on April 5 in Hokandara, Arangala junction to Vidyala Junction and all by roads connected to them, Wanaguru Mawatha, Malwatta, St. Catherine Watta, Viduhala Junction to Kalalgoda Road and all byroads connected to them.
