UPF members Radhakrishnan join CWC

Upcountry People's Front (UPF) member and former Deputy Minister P. Radhakrishnan had joined with the Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) today along with 10 UPF members.

He was later appointed as the Deputy Leader of the CWC by its General Secretary Arumugan Thondaman.

Party sources said that Mr. Radhakrishnan would contest the Western Provincial Council Chief Ministerial post in the upcoming election on CWC ticket.

He was the Deputy Minister of Vocational and Technical Training in 2006.
