Video: UNP won’t respond to CA notice

The UNP said today that its members would not go before the Court of Appeal tomorrow, where the writ application of Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake would be taken up for hearing.

Addressing a media briefing today UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake said that the UNP leader Ranil Wickremasinghe would make a statement providing the reasons for the non-attendance tomorrow.

“There is no collusion with the government and we are against the entire PSC proceedings. But we would not go before the Court of Appeal tomorrow and the reasons for this would be given by the party leader” he said. ( Yohan Perera & Hafeel Farisz)
