UNP tops Trincomalee postal votes

United National Party (UNP) topped the postal votes in the Trincomalee district with 5,215 votes (48.79%) while United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) obtained 2,894 votes (27.08).The Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) obtained 2099 votes (19.64%) and Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) obtained 301 votes (2.82%).
