New Zealand (of course with 1/6 our population) roads are narrower than most of our roads. In under TWO months, I witnessed ONE accident with ZERO traffic jams. I could conclude the biggest reason to be, clearly displayed speed limits, its adherence, mobile Police in mufti or otherwise, pure planning the journey and a well thought out Traffic Lights system. Never heard a single toot of a horn. I suggest activating a Sample area from Ratmalana to Vajira Road, preventing vehicles over taking and going slower than stipulated speeds, for starters.
