Swiss national drowned

A Swiss national  drowned yesterday when swimming in the Ulla Sea at Pottuvil, police said.

His body is being kept at the Pottuvil Hospital mortuary and the Pottuvil police are carrying out investigations.

Meanwhile, another man drowned when swimming in the Unawatuna Sea at Habaraduwa.

Police identified the victim as T.P. Weeraratne, 27 years old and a resident of Galle.

He was medical student studying in America. The Habaraduwa police are investigating.
