Tuition master, five others granted bail

The science tuition master and his five accomplices charged with the leaking of the GCE 2012 O/L science examination paper were released on bail today by the Kaduwela Magistrate.

It was alleged that on February 15 a model test paper with the answers had been distributed among a group of students at a class conducted by this tuition master.

Education sector officials said the paper I of the model examination paper contained Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) very similar to several questions that appeared in the actual science paper
