Slain Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra’s daughter Hirunka today said she felt the course of law was gradually moving in the right direction.

“We feel that although slow it is moving towards the right direction. I don’t know what the mental state of Duminda Silva is, but physically I have evidence to prove that he is doing well as any other person” she said at the conclusion of yesterday’s hearing.

Speaking to reporters outspoken Hirunika Premachandra said the Magistrate’s decision to order a court medical report was commendable.

“We are happy because a medical report ordered by the court is different from something that a private entity provides. We eagerly look forward to its findings. (ISA)
