Hopefully Thilan,pay back the trust placed on him. In Australia he looked like a third grade cricketer. We wish you well, but please do not repeat the same awful circus you displayed in front of the Australian and srilankan cricket fans in Australia.

This is a good decision. Without Sanga and mahela there would be a serious depletion of experience in the team. Also Thilan scored a 100 against NCC, so he's in form. Good one yet again Sanath!

I think this is a good decision made by selectors. We need to win this series at high to upgrade the confidence of Mathews. Thilan would be the appropriate replacement for Mahela considering huge experiences and batting style.
