Thewarapperuma ordered to be produced in Matugama Court
The Colombo Chief Magistrate today ordered to produce UNP MP Palitha Thewarapperuma in the Matugama Court on January 29 in connection with the assault incident at Agalawatta.
MP Thewarapperuma’s counselor requested the Magistrate to grant bail informing that his client did not carry a firearm during the alleged assault.
The Colombo Crime Division (CCD) informed court that such a request could be made to the Matugama Court as the case against the MP would be taken up there. T.Farook Thajudeen
