Businesswoman Himali Karunaratne, who was remanded on charges of abducting and killing her husband in Thalangama, was further remanded till December 13 by Kaduwela Magistrate Wasantha Jinadasa today.

Defence Counsel said prison officers had failed to take the accused to a cardiologist as ordered by the Court.

Prison officers informed Court that the accused had failed to provide her medical reports and as such the Prison health officer had taken the decision on consulting a cardiologist. (Dasun Rajapakshe & G.I. Manike)
