Suspect arrested with counterfeit currency

An individual was arrested for possessing 24 counterfeit notes of Rs. 500 near the Holy Cross Church in Kalutara, Police said today.

They also seized 137 counterfeit Rs. 500 notes and 5 counterfeit Rs. 1000 notes along with a paper machine used for printing.
