Sri Lanka Cricket announced the 15-man squad for the ICC Champions Trophy a short while ago, recalling fast bowler Channaka Welegedera who last featured in an ODI in 2010 against India.

Also included in the squad are Mahela Jayawardene and Rangana Herath, two of the seniors who sat out of the last series against Bangladesh.

The Champions Trophy will begin on June 6, with Sri Lanka playing Group A alongside New Zealand, England and Australia.
