What a rule, typical Kakilla ruling. Power plays.

Make a pact with china for fishing. Then our fisherman can go to yellow sea and they can come to Indian ocean and buy fish from Chinese fisherman to saman Factories and for Umbalkada and dry fish.

you cant go on just because they were in power when war was won and they are in power now, go all out and break the law of the country and violate all norms. we did not vote a leader to violate country law but to govern it by respecting all people law and the constitution.

What is the matter with you guys? Yes MR family is in power and they need to control and safeguard the country in whatever way possible. Yes Sri Lanka is holding its head up internationally without being subjected to an 'Arab Spring' because of China and Russia, much to the disappointment of the opposition, no doubt, who appears to be able to set the country ablaze like in Egypt, Libya etc., just to come to power. Have some consideration to gratitude man.

China to Sri Lanka..."Hand them over now." Also they would have reminded the 1989 incident in their country where thousands of Chinese were massacred.

Obey your colonial masters and bow humbly as they pass... I mean... as they fish.

Follow the same for the Indian Fishermen.
CHANDRAPALA Wednesday, 08 August 2012 03:23 AM
It seems that the government is following different polices over the fishermen who violate the international maritime law. when it comes to the South Indian fishermen it does not hesitate to take action according to law.

Lesson learned. It our (Srilankan) fault Master.
buffaloa citizen Wednesday, 08 August 2012 02:56 AM
The fault lies not with the Sri Lankans unless one of them was the Captain of the ship. The Captain is finally responsible for the movement of the ship and its purpose. Not getting the crew released through a court order, shows to what level this regime has become puppets.
Calistus Jayatilleke Wednesday, 08 August 2012 02:23 AM
As expected: after all they are CHINESE!

Anyone could see that the Sri Lankan owner thing is a good ploy to poach in our waters. The 'owner' was probably paid a fortune to play his part.
bandara Wednesday, 08 August 2012 01:20 AM
I hope you don't embarrass China.
