A doctor from Sri Lanka is on trial for molesting a former scrub nurse in an operating theatre at Changi General Hospital in Singapore
The 37 year old suspect, is accused of tapping the 26-year-old woman's buttock twice - first in the morning and later in the afternoon.
This allegedly happened during a seven-hour operation on 5 April last year.
The victim took to the stand on Tuesday to give her account of what happened.
The trial continues on Wednesday.(CNA/ck)

What's appaling are the comments that are entered condoning what he did or saying that it was no big deal.. worse people click like for those comments.
As a woman, I'm shocked at the attitude of those who say this is not a big deal... if your mother, sister, wife, daughter, girlfriend, friend or colleague say they were harrased, would you tell them that it was no big deal? If you see a being harrased would you act like it's no big deal or condemn her? is that the sort men you are?1 13

Why is everyone jumping to conclusions, the case is not over yet and the doctor is only 'accused' of tapping on the nurses behind. Wait for the outcome of the court case and then make your comments. We do not know the facts as yet. Anyone could be accused of anything, that does not mean that they did it.
