Six OICs transferred
The Police Department announced today that six Officers-In-Charge of the Police (OIC) had been given transfers with immediate effect.It said the Police Chief N.K Ilangakoon had order the transferred due to service requirement.
The Transferred IOCs are: H.A.I.R.N Perera OIC of the Maligawatta to OIC Statistics Division, B.N. Ekanayake, OIC of the Habaraduwa to OIC Maligawatta, K.K.P. Udaya Kumara, OIC of the Baduraliya to OIC in Habaraduwa, W.M.D.K.P Wijemanna from Statistics Division to acting OIC of Wellawatta, I.K.M.P. Illangasekara from Bakamoona to OIC in Mulliyawalai and N.A. Gunawardane from Polonnaruwa Intelligence Division to Acting OIC of Bakamoona
