this is a land mark judgment to clear doubts. I am not worried of Jaffna but I am worried of our local provincial councils. If land powers are given to PC's all the lands will be sold in one year in all parts of SL.

very timely decision ,
Its a north or south it must be belong to every sri lankan , not to any particular ethnic group.
if north become a home for other ethnic people , 90% of this problem can be solved.

A timely decision. This should have clarified before. Land powers should be vested with the Centre. So should be the police powers to avoid armed police militia in the provinces.

First step towards separate state if powers given in 13 A can be taken over by courts why should you have a constitution. Thus justify separation.

If the government say that this is the correct decision by the Supreme Court, then what about the two decisions given by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court regarding the Impeachment case......No wonder, the bench presided by our present CJ.......

This is a very good judgment to clear all doubts. This will really helpful to unite the country and everybody can leave peacefully any part of the country. Whether it is South or North, all land is belong to Srilankan citizen and not for one ethnic group.
