Sharia Law is outdated not suitable for 21st century With two holy mosques in hand Saudi Arabia must set example to other countries what is forgiveness. That should be the real Islam.
Any Head of the country should have more power specially on international matters.

Sri Lankans have no right criticise any government over human rights issues. Anyway my deepest sympathies to the family. Pray that you were born in a country that sent women overseas to work.

In a civilized world a girl's neck was cut to kill her for a crime (God only knows whether it is true) that she had done as a minor. And kept her for 7 years in prison. Cruelty.

Firstly my deepest sympathy to Rizna's parents. In this case the Govt.of Sri Lanka should have given more pressure in order for Rizna's release.Specially through UN.Secondly the King of Saudi will have to face punishment for doing this to a teenage & a muslim girl in thire own religion.Thirdly after the incedent there are so many organization's coming up with so many ideas.Where were these ideas before.End of the day this is Srl Lanan style.NO VALUE FOR HUMAN LIFE.

Let's not take this as a communal or religious subject. This Shariah Law is practiced on every person proven to be guilty of a crime. Even if it was the son of the King of Saudi, it has to be carried out. And no king can pardon an accused unless the victims immediate family accepts to pardon. Can v see a more neutral law than this anywhere in the world.

If Shariah Law is properly followed in Saudi, it's the Saudi's who will mostly be imprisoned. Just look at their behaviour. But the Saudi govt. always rules in favour of their citizens even if it's unfair to the other party. How can this be called Shariah Law.
They give Sri Lankan muslims a bad name.
