Ranil, Karu, Sajith to meet again on Monday

Opposition and UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, MPs Sajith Premadasa and Karu Jayasuriya who met today for a discussion with regard to the proposed party reforms decided to meet again next Monday, November 4 to finalize legal formalities on transferring powers to the proposed leadership council.

The discussion is to be held in the morning before the working committee meeting scheduled for Monday.

Informed sources said the trio would meet up to finalize a draft document on transferring powers to the proposed leadership council. It had also been decided to appoint Mr. Jayasuriya to the working committee of the party.

The discussion had lasted around 55 minutes according to informed sources. (Yohan Perera)
